Jamie’s accounting experience is based on years of working as a full-time accountant and her expertise with several different versions of accounting software.

While an entrepreneur at heart but “mom” first Jamie stayed at home for 13 years to raise her young family before starting her own company. Once she started her vending business it quickly expanded, and with that, more extensive bookkeeping requirements became evident. This is when she discovered QuickBooks®. Driven at first by the needs of her own business, she built upon her accounting knowledge and completed the QuickBooks ProAdvisor® program. It didn’t take her long, and with further study she soon advanced to being certified as an Advanced QuickBooks® Proadvisor. When she says smilingly “I know the challenges you are facing as a business owner!” she is not exaggerating.

She recognized the possibilities that were ahead and sold her successful vending business to start a new company where she could combine her experience as a business owner with her accounting profession and her newly found knowledge of QuickBooks®.

Businesses face challenges at all stages. Whether it is the initial jump-start of a business or different phases along their evolution. Jamie understands that business owners go into business with the vision to sell a service or product. They don’t usually go into business for the love of the accounting or the bookkeeping part that goes along with owning and managing a business. And she adds “I enjoy working closely with business owners. I like to sit down with them in person to evaluate their business requirements so I can help find solutions that will assist them in managing their current business framework while setting the stage for future growth of their company.” 

Business solutions may come from learning how to read a financial report, from finding the perfect software or simplifying work flows or from proper training with that software.

Jamie provides individualized or group training for the various versions of QuickBooks® software. In addition to providing training sessions for current clients, Jamie taught QuickBooks® classes for the University of Wisconsin - School of Business - Small Business Development Center for 10 years.
